Colleen Slaters' specialist subjects include close-up, macro images of flowers and nature and also of people and places. The underwater flower photographs are unusual, semi abstract and have a modern, contemporary feel.

She is based in Brighton, a city full of fascinating, colourful, creative people who provide endless opportunities for portrait photography especially during events such as the Brighton Festival and Gay Pride.
